Embever is pleased to announce that it has received a prize at the 2018 Hugo-Junkers-Awards, in the category “Most innovative products, services & business models”, for its IoT middleware Embever IoT Core.

The Hugo-Junkers-Awards recognize outstanding innovations in the state of Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. The price is awarded by the Ministry of Economy, Science and Digitalisation since 1991.

This year, the jury awarded a prize to Embever IoT Core, Embever’s platform that aims to make building and operating IoT applications easier by managing the data transmission for low-power IoT devices. With the IoT middleware businesses can develop new IoT products, that rely on long battery lifetime, in less time and keep focus on their key application.

We are proud that the jury has recognized our efforts in helping businesses to realize new digital opportunities offered by low-power IoT solutions. Successful IoT innovations depend on the ability to rapidly bring ideas to reality. Developers can handover the complex data transfer mechanisms to Embever IoT Core and keep the focus on their particular IoT use case, shortening time-to-market exceptionally. The performance of the particular IoT product often strongly depends on its devices battery lifetime. By combining an innovative cloud middleware, power-efficient IoT protocols and  embedded operating system for IoT devices, Embever IoT Core helps developers to achieve best energy performance of their devices with ease.
